Is it possible to over-exfoliate with Softwear?
Hydroxycaprylic Acid is the chemical exfoliant that powers Softwear’s smoothing capabilities. This lipophilic (oil loving) AHA has a large molecule size, meaning it has a lower irritation profile than AHAs like glycolic and lactic acid. It helps slough off of dead skin cells removing those dry crusties, revealing soft, smooth lips. Knowing that lip balms are used frequently throughout the day, it’s included at a low, but efficacious level.
Is Softwear glossy? Is it sticky??
Softwear is a true lip balm, not a gloss. It glides on clear with a medium shine and leaves a balmy dewy finish. Due to the squalane base, the formula isn’t sticky– we promise.

Meh, this is fine. I have very dry lips so I was hopeful I would see/feel a difference from my regular Aquaphor. I will use this until it’s gone but I wouldn’t recommend this over something cheaper.

This is the best lip treatment/product I’ve used in my entire life. Works exactly as advertised and makes my lips feel great immediately after the first application. Buying 3 at a time is the only way to do it—having only 1 on hand isn’t enough
