1% Encapsulated Salicylic Acid - Extended-release technology delivers this BHA gradually, clearing pores and congestion without irritation. Controlled delivery means longer activity, gentler action.

3% Gluconolactone - This polyhydroxy acid (PHA) has a larger molecular structure that exfoliates gently, smoothing texture and reducing buildup without compromising the skin barrier.

3.7% Glycinated Azelaic Acid - This stable, water-soluble derivative of Azelaic Acid is less irritating than the traditional. It brightens post-blemish marks and reduces redness while helping to reduce excess sebum production.

Recovery Axis

“Fantastic save for my skin!”

I’m having some awful rash like breakouts, but this was highly recommended. My entire face is changing w age and hormones and this brand has been amazing! I hope they expand, they really are great for sensitive and combo skin.

“Great gentle staple for hormonal acne.”

I get a lot of hormonal acne, and after two months of using it, I didn't even realize I had broken out because the acne was so small, uninflamed and inconsequential. It is also so gentle that I don't feel like I am nuking my skin. I use it every day, and it helps prevent the worst of my breakouts.

“The only salicylic acid I trust”

I’ve never liked salicylic acid products cause most were too strong and just made my acne worse. I use a .3% adapalene 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream for my acne but still struggled with closed comedones and the occasional breakout. Since I’ve incorporated this into my routine almost daily, I’ve seen so much improvement! I do have to take breaks some days because my prescription is strong but this causes really no irritation unless my barrier is a little overworked. I am extremely happy I invested in this even with my history with salicylic acid :)

Skin Type Combo + Acne Prone

Minimal and easy-to-use packaging. Very mild chemical smell to the product when dispensed. Nice light gel-serum texture and goes on with 0 sensitivity. (I actually hollered when I saw that it uses parabens for its preservative system—they’re the best preservatives!! So effective but also so well-tolerated and gentle. I think it speaks to the brand’s science-first approach to formulation and ingredients that they included them.) I currently use azelaic acid and salicylic acid products regularly so I think this product will probably replace both of those, which I like because I enjoy simplicity. My skin lovesssss salicylic acid and after using Continuum at night, I wake up with any active acne looking a bit less red than the night before. I can’t speak to how effective it really is at treating acne or post-acne pigmentation though because it’s hard for me to gauge something like that objectively. Overall I think this is a great product and will definitely be a new staple for me.
